Anyways today was a gloomy day, but i got homework done and went to the movies with Nell. We saw Love Happens, and even though good actors, the movie is kinda long and pretty cliched in a lot of ways.

North End
So first time in the North End of Boston last night. I went to dinner with Sophie and her cousin Laura. We had a yummy meal at Panza (i had soup, salad and grilled veggies and they both had pasta). Then we walked around for a bit and took a cab home. I went to city convienence and bought 70% cocoa Lindt chocolate (im more than half way through it now.. its very dangerous to have it in my drawer!).

Water Bottles
Let me just say that water bottles are a necessity in college. Really, not only for drinking water and staying hydrated, but also for smuggling (lol). Last night was very fun. Went to Warren and left for West with my 14th floor friends! Aly, Sohpie, Lindsay and Keely are insane and they are way to much fun for me! Had a great time on the way there, at the actual party, and on the way back.
Not so much at the MIT frat since they ended it early and the grinding was intense (btw i hate grinding). So tonight should be fun also.Earlier had lunch with Sophie and went to FitRec (boring), did laundry and had dinner watching 90210. Thursday was fun. Went to the MFA college night with my floor (floor event).
The museum was pretty and interesting (although i was not in the mood). We left early for dinner at UNO pizzeria! Walked back with Starbucks in my hands!!
NOTE: I have been listening to "The Boy Who Knew Too Much" non-stop and I just can't get enough of it! It is an insane album and I really cannot wait for the concert!

Spektor!
Saw Regina Spektor yesterday at the Orpheum Theatre and she was great! So cute and awkward (in a good way). I had to wait until the encore to hear my favorite songs though, but I guess thats how it goes. Sooo I also saw where I'm going to be seated for the Mika concert and I got very excited!
So today was a good day, classes, then lunch (I embarrassingly forgot my wallet at home and had to run back and get it to pay!). I will make sure I never forget my card again! Then I tried out a step class (instead of cardiokickboxing) and I loved it. It made me relive my times at Womens Workout with Raul (such a good teacher). So now I am ready to go to bed and rest for tomorrow. I have been very tired this week for weird reason and such!

Mika Tickets
I got my Mika tickets today! I am sooooo very excited and I just can't hide it (the pic is weird because I took it with photobooth since Im too tired to connect my camera and all!)
I used Adobe In Design for the first time today! Sooo excited about the magazine, even though it might be a little overwhelming since I am writing for two sections and doing layout! Anyways today was a great day (except for the writing class obviously). Had lunch with Juan Pablo. Kick-boxing class (sub teacher was way better than the real teacher and I think I'm switching into Step next week!). Then yummy dinner at Panera. So tomorrow I am going to Regina Spektor in concert! I will blog about that on wednesday most probably!

Mass Ave Bridge - Day & Night
I am pretty tired so I will try to make this short, because I want to go to bed but I want to blog!
So now I can officially say that I have been on the Mass Ave Bridge during the day (jogging) and at night (walking on heels).
So Friday night I went to a MIT frat party with Mel and some friends she met in math class. The actual party sucked but the people were nice and the pregame was fun. After that I had another party fail with Mariel and the NU girls. We went to Roxbury and the "party" was very sketchy so we just went back to Gaby's apartment and danced around (drinking lol). I didn't feel so well so I came back home early (met a BU student who shared a cab with me on the way back and he was very funnily drunk).
Saturday, Mel and me went to the South End trying to find vintage shops, but we epically failed at that and found a market instead. Didn't really buy anything but we took some fun pictures which I will probably get to see sometime this week (the link needs to be emailed to me). Later we had lunner (lunch/dinner) at the Cheesecake Factory and I had probably the biggest carrot cake ever made! (seriously it was scarily big!). I couldn't finish it but I had as much as I could and then we walked back to HoJo. Was too tired to go out so I stayed in and read The Economist instead (dorky much?).
Today was a very chill day. Breakfast at Towers, jogging along the Charles River (finally on the BU Bridge), lunch at Panera, layut meeting at GSU followed by dinner (obviously everything spread out and mixed with homework!). Tomorrow I have to do some layouts for the magazine so that should be fun! Goodnight!

Confused
I am not feeling the best right now (i think it was last nights whisky that caused an allergic reaction maybe). Anyways, last night was the bomb! It was so much fun. I went out with my NU girlfriends (Mariel, Gaby, Kaley, Ale) to Beacon Hill (Javi and Pascual's house) and we pretty much hung out for a while before the boys left to go clubbing (they had asked us to wait for them can you believe that!) and we parted to Gaby's apartment! She has the best home here in Boston! Seriously it was sooo nice, it made me wish i had my own apartment and not a three person dorm (even though i love HoJo and my roomies!). We laughed histerically over Gaby's accent (dominican republic) and around 2 ish i came back home!
As for Thursday (during the day) I had some classes, a writing appointment aaaaaand (drumroll please...) The Buzz layout meeting! I am oh so very excited to be able to be on their staff and actually show people i can work my magic! After that i had the least mexican quesadilla ever (portobello mushrooms, wannabe queso panela and grilled vegetables in a flour tortilla).
Today, woke up , went to class and didn't do so bad on my quiz; had more classes and a free Sobe (brightened up my morning!). Later had lunch with Sophie, went to Fit Rec and I am now waiting for my laundry to be done...
Tonight is going to be a good night! (or at least i hope so, depending on how i feel later on)
P.S. the title of today's blog is about you know who! (if you don't then you don't know me well enough!)

The Buzz
So I went to both the Food and the Fashion meetings (for The Buzz) and I am very excited to be participating in their projects! That was after my cardiokickboxing class this evening (which let me blow off a lot of steam!). Anyways after that I had dinner at UNO alone (enjoyed it even though it was extremely short). Now I am ready to go to bed and sleep!
But before that I guess I should mention some of the things I did today: classes, walking, lunch, homework, walking...LOL. This is my life in college!

Care Package!
I got my first care package today! Even though I knew it was coming, it was very very exciting to get it! It had my magazine (to show the layout peeps what I can do), cookies (Society Lite), my pencil case (forgot it when I packed school stuff), an umbrella (better quality than the one I bought here) and a cloth (to clean my kitchen stuff). Anyways even though today is supposed to be one of my harder days, it was pretty relaxed. I had time to go to the library and relax for a while, time to watch the third episode of Greek, and even time to turn in my Starbucks application! But I am exhausted from a bad night's sleep and can't wait to get into my comfy (extra padded thanks to my dad) bed. Tomorrow I will sleep in (relatively) and unfortunately I will not watch Calderon during the Grito de Independencia at midnight (but I will certainly try to find it later on youtube!)

Cardio Kick Boxing
I had my first cardio kickboxing class today! It was a great way to blow steam off (after having to endure yet another writing class) and have a different exercise routine. Before that I went to Trader Joe's with Steph (my next door neighbor), had a yummy lunch at Towers with Juan Pablo and got some homework done at home. After the class, I had dinner while reading (for my writing class.. ew) at the GSU (first time having dinner there!).
Af for yesterday, I obviously could not bring myself to blog since nothing too exciting happened. I woke up and went to Panera for breakfast, then met up with some friends (Sophie, Aly, Keely and Lindsay) at Warren to do homework. Had lunch at Shelton and came to work my way through readings. Later had dinner with Cecile (finally had the opportunity to do some catching up!) at Myles Standish (another first and most probably a last cuz the food there sucked!) and walked around campus for a bit. Came back to watch 90210 (o so very good) and then went right to bed!
Tomorrow I am going to try to turn in my application for Starbucks and will hopefully get an interview and possibly a job! I'll blog every detail as soon as I have them!!

Raaaaaaaaaain on me
Forgot to blog yesterday. Got home pretty early considering it was a Friday night (1 am ish). But I did have a great night with the Warren c 14 floor girls! We played Kings for a while, had lots of laughs and then I headed back home.
Thursday night was insane! It might be the most fun I've had out since I got to BU. Wait no, it was different! Party hopping is also really fun but this was something else! Went to a pregame with two friends (Mariel from my elementary school and her friend) and some guys I just met that night! We had lots of fun and talked in spanish the whole time (we were all spanish, mexican or venezuelan) and we then tried to get into Rumor (club) but it was an epic fail. So after weird stuff that went on (lol) I came back to HoJo.
Today was a rainy day and I went out jogging in the morning, then brunch, then movies (500 days of summer was very very good) and now hopefully I will have dinner with Cecile or Melanie.

lobster night madness
Ironically I did not attend BU's lobster night (because it was way too crowded and smelled like lobster in the dining hall) and instead I went to have the worst dinner ever at Bertucci. I am never eating there again. Greasy food and way too much of everything (prices are adequate though since you get too much to finish it anyways!) Anyways today was a good day, got some work done and managed to go to FitRec to relax afterwards. Had m&ms for dessert (even though I couldn't get my favorite: dark chocolate). I am now getting ready to go out! (to a pregame at least lol)... I will blog about that tomorrow and hopefully have pictures also!

BU buzz
I am tired of stressing out today. I can't seem to relax when I need to and that is really bugging me. I have an essay to write for WR98 and it is keeping me on my toes all the time (I want to get it over with but I know its going to be hard and I can't seem to know how to start, maybe I should give the writing center a try). Today was a normal day lol, nothing very exciting until tonight when I went to 2 meetings. One was for BUTV10 and it got me really excited even though my mayor isn't broadcast or anything like that. The other was for The Buzz (BU's magazine in progress!). I am very excited about it, but the girls in charge seem to be very strict and I just hope I can make it to their staff! For now I want to rest and get some sleep for my classes (and hopefully essay writing) tomorrow!

First Hectic Tuesday
So this blog will be filled with first's (first college Friday, first frat party, etc.) but they will probably get more and more scarce as my time as a college student goes by. Today was a very grueling day since I had an 8 am class followed by a 9:30 one (all while having slept for about 5 hours since I was up and walking around the BU campus at 1 am this morning showing my mexican friend around). Anyways tried to go to the post office and mail my sister's letter, but that was an epic fail since the line was very long (lets say about 16 people in front of me and my stomach was grumbling for food!) Instead I went to lunch with Mariana at Warren and came back to take a so called power-nap (another epic fail since the most I accomplished was a few relaxed minutes). Later I had my discussion for R&A at the library (took me a while to find the room since I had it wrong and there was no room 225) with a very cool nerdy TA. Bought an apple and enjoyed it while reading IR at Union Court. Had the COM seminar (how to survive freshman year) and then dinner with roomies and friends! Checked out the Latin American Reception (boring but at least I met some latinos). Decided I wanted to go to the FitRec to get my mind off home and it worked, after 30 mins. of elliptical I feel relaxed, clean (after showering obviously) and ready for bed!

first college friday!!
Went to sleep last night not wanting to wake up and go to class; woke up this morning reluctant to go to class; wasn't so bad after all! I had a COM discussion first and I made a new friend!! (she invited me to dinner tonight but couldn't make it because of laundry) After that I had writing which I am not soooo excited about because I just want to magically get better at writing (without having to sit through grammatical error classes and stuff like that). Then I speedwalked to my argument class and sat next to my "senior" friend (lol the first time I met her I asked if she was a sophomore...). Went to lunch alone at Shelton (but read Teen Vogue very excitedly while eating) and then I finally checked out the FitRec (this huge gym for BU students and faculty). It is huge and very hectic, machines everywhere, 4 indoor courts (tennis and squash I think), an indoor track, 2 pools, many multipurpose rooms; it is insane! Later came back to the dorm to do my laundry and then to dinner with Melanie and Steph Wu (another asian friend!!). Now I am debating what to wear for my night out clubbing (my attempt to go clubbing in Boston at least!). I will write about that tomorrow! Ciao!

03.09.2009
Today was my second day of classes as an undergrad. Didn't have a very good night's sleep so I woke up early and had extra time before my 8 am class (facebooked for a while haha). It was intro to International Relations and I loved it! I know its probably to early to form an opinion since the only thing the professor did was go over the syllabus, but I think I am going to really enjoy it. After that I had COM 101, the teacher has a very perky voice! Later I went for a jog towards MIT, but I got lost around their campus and couldn't actually see the building I was looking for. Ended up running a lot more than I had planned but it was still relaxing. Then lunch with my roommate Melanie (you can see her in the jumping pictures) and we walked towards Agganis Arena where I bought tickets to watch Ricardo Arjona in concert this
Monday!!! Anyways, after that I had to do homework and get a notepad from Barnes and Noble. Im rambling but whatever, I'll eventually get better at blogging. Before dinner Melanie and I spontaneously decided to go take jumping pictures around BU (we only got two good ones though!)
Then dinner at Warren and Jamba Juice/Starbucks with Paula (the girl in the non-jumping pictures). We walked to Barnes and Noble (hence the book pictures) and went crazy!
Now I'm back a t the dorm deciding whether I should go out or not (my friend
is going to a bar but I probably can't get in). Well thats it for my first official college entry.
COLLEGE
So, after a failed attempt to start blogging last summer (partly due to the lack of motivation since nobody commented) I will now make a second attempt at blogging. Only this time it will be about college. I am a freshman at BU, living in "HoJo" (claimed to be one of the nicer dorms, but not such a party one) and plan to mayor in magazine journalism (although that could possibly change since I am taking a reasoning and argument class and an international relations, both of which sound pretty interesting). Ok now that my new "topic" is clear (I will write about everything though, just focusing on my college career lol) I can start blogging.
