Gary Go

I am currently obsessed (I am not understating) with the singer-songwriter-producer Gary Go. Heard him for the first time before Mika's concert at the Orpheum Theatre in October, and have since been crazy about his album.
This quirky Brit literally records part of his songs right before your eyes (making your voice a part of his song as well) and then replays the sounds to complete his melodies.
All I can say is that he is WONDERFUL (my favorite song of his) and now his album is available on itunes. Also, you can download "Wonderful" for free this week, so go do that right now! Believe me, you won't regret it.

"The Boy Who Knew Too Much"

It has been a while since I last wrote in my blog, but I have been busy with college life. Parents weekend was this last weekend and I went shopping for winter clothes with my mother. She renamed it "Mothers weekend" and we actually did have a blast. Having said that, the main point of this post is the Mika concert.

Let me just say that it was Amazing! It was exciting to finally see him in person, not only because of the love I feel for his music (and him too), but also because he is a very good entertainer. His show is very engaging whether you like the songs or not! (even though if you don't know his songs and jump up and down like I did you will probably not enjoy the concert as much like - the woman next to me who kept inching away) So here are some pictures from his astronaut-inspired-black-lighted-energy-filled concert (thought I would try a funny way of writing)

Mika Countdown

Just wanted to post something about the Mika concert coming up, so I thought it would be good to continue my countdown! Less than 168 hours (a week) for me to get to watch Mika live from the seventh row of the Orpheum Theatre here in Boston. I can't eve begin to express my excitement, it is just so great that I finally get to see him in person! Anyways I thought it would be nice to show you the video my cousin and I made for a competition to win a concert and a chance to meet Mika. We had to make our own "We Are Golden" video. Let me know what you think about it! (Hopefully I can post something about winning here in the near future). Wish us luck!

Spektor!

Saw Regina Spektor yesterday at the Orpheum Theatre and she was great! So cute and awkward (in a good way). I had to wait until the encore to hear my favorite songs though, but I guess thats how it goes. Sooo I also saw where I'm going to be seated for the Mika concert and I got very excited!
So today was a good day, classes, then lunch (I embarrassingly forgot my wallet at home and had to run back and get it to pay!). I will make sure I never forget my card again! Then I tried out a step class (instead of cardiokickboxing) and I loved it. It made me relive my times at Womens Workout with Raul (such a good teacher). So now I am ready to go to bed and rest for tomorrow. I have been very tired this week for weird reason and such!
