Gary Go

I am currently obsessed (I am not understating) with the singer-songwriter-producer Gary Go. Heard him for the first time before Mika's concert at the Orpheum Theatre in October, and have since been crazy about his album.
This quirky Brit literally records part of his songs right before your eyes (making your voice a part of his song as well) and then replays the sounds to complete his melodies.
All I can say is that he is WONDERFUL (my favorite song of his) and now his album is available on itunes. Also, you can download "Wonderful" for free this week, so go do that right now! Believe me, you won't regret it.

Collared Shirt

So here's my outfit (worn on Thursday) using the TopShop collared shirt I bought over the summer in one of my favorite places in the world: London!
Unfortunately, the only TopShop store in the US is in NYC (which is really not that far away), and either way the prices don't allow for me to have constant shopping sprees (because believe me when I say that if I could, I definitely would).
Anyways... I wore it with leggings (my ever favorite piece of clothing this winter), my RL boots (also in the favorites) and a new necklace from Gap.

Frilly sweater

So I bought this sweater before Xmas break in Anthropologie (using my 15% birthday discount card!). Anyways I got a lot of compliments on it, and even though its usually not the color I would buy, I love it!
Here's my outfit for the day.
btw apparently I am a lucky charm for the store that I work at (CERI) since we have had better sales (even if just a small difference) the days I work there!!

Hunting Season

Having returned to my Boston home, the hunt to find a more comfortable abode for next semester has begun (I felt like using proper wording). Amanda and I have started looking for apartments in several places, hoping we can make our decision and pick a two bedroom unit as soon as possible. Our most preferred location is Bay State Road or Commonwealth Ave. (in the lower numbers), and we do NOT mind paying for location. Location is everything!
Anyways, having said that, apartments are flying out of our reach (being rented by other BU dorm-escaping students) and a decision must be made. We are now debating whether to move into a nice 2 bedroom on 43 Bay State, as opposed to a very chic unit at the Trilogy (Fenway) or a brick-walled apartment on Park St. (South Campus) that includes access to an amazing roof-deck. We are also on the lookout for Comm Ave apartments, but unfortunately those might not be available by September.
Here are some pictures to help illustrate our dilemma.

Goodbye Aspen (until next season!)

So I am back home until Tuesday when I go back to Boston (my other home). Sadly we left Aspen yesterday when the snow was falling lightly on the slopes. I had a great time nevertheless, and I am very happy with the way things turned out. I got to go out with my middle school friends and then walked the snowy streets of Aspen with other friends! Here are some pics from that night, and my outfit.
Btw I will soon have a camera again!

Aspen Celebrity sighting: Paris Hilton

Walking back from the famous Paradise Bakery with an oatmeal cookie and decaf coffee in my mittens, a sunglassed and hatted Paris Hilton left Boogies to get into a grey car. My sister (who by the way was standing right beside where Hilton came out) didn't notice until I mentioned her name, and was later regretting not being able to see Paris. Either way, she is not the kind of celebrity we would take a picture with, and her leave- quickly-unnoticed attitude was very unappealing us non-celebrities.
